Dear Friends of Medical Missionaries,
This has certainly been quite a year! Hopefully everyone has fared well. In spite of the challenges presented by the pandemic, we here at Medical Missionaries have remained very busy.
- St Joseph Clinic in Haiti is up and running with all programs doing well. These include the midwife care of pregnant women, feeding malnourished children, providing lunches to school children, following up with chronic disease patients, and dealing with emergencies 24/7. The clinic has been open since 2007 and is the only medical facility serving a population of 125,000 people.
- This year we have sent eight sea containers of medical equipment and supplies worldwide
- We have donated food to the food pantry in Grundy, one of the poorest counties in Virginia; distributed medical supplies locally; distributed clothes and housewares to the Elkins, West Virginia area; and delivered hygiene kits, new clothing, sporting goods, and educational items to four different American Indian Reservations.
Thank you so much! We could not have accomplished any of this without your very generous donations.
We are very excited at Medical Missionaries! Next year, 2022 will be our 25th anniversary. Medical Missionaries is in the process of planning events for the coming celebratory year. We will be setting up an exhibit in Manassas at the Harris Pavilion spotlighting the different things our organization does. We will also be having our annual Friends of Medical Missionaries event at Doukénie Winery in Hillsboro, Virginia, as well as our annual silent auction. Please follow us on our website https://www.medicalmissionaries.org for updates.
Wishing you and your families a very Happy Holiday season. Please remember the poor and less fortunate. Again, thank you for all you’ve done. None of this could have been accomplished without your help. We look forward to your continued support!
P.S . Your donation reaches so many people! We greatly appreciate your help!
