Feeding the Hungry: Medical Missionaries Food Collection and Distribution Successes
Medical Missionaries has been dedicated to serving vulnerable populations in the United States and abroad. One of our key initiatives is addressing food insecurity through food collection and distribution programs.
Food Collection and Distribution Efforts
Medical Missionaries has made significant strides in collecting and distributing food to those in need:
- Since 2000, we have collected and distributed millions of pounds of food
- This effort helped support food banks, pantries, and other organizations serving vulnerable populations in the Appalachian region of Virginia, Kentucky, and West Virginia
Rocklick Pantry Program
One of Medical Missionaries’ flagship programs is the Rocklick Pantry Program in Grundy, Virginia:
- The program provides food assistance to over 200 families per month
- In addition to food, the pantry also offers household essentials and personal care items
- Medical Missionaries sends over 2000 pounds of foods and supplies every month.
Addressing Food Insecurity in Haiti
Medical Missionaries also addresses food insecurity in Haiti through their Medika Mamba program:
- Medika Mamba provides nutritional support to malnourished children in Haiti
- The program has helped thousands of children receive the nutrition they need to thrive

Medical Missionaries relies on donations and volunteers to continue their food collection and distribution efforts. You can make a difference by:
